Huummm, I'm diving Sat. for training, looks like Sunday AM too, let me sleep on it for Monday AM, maybe if I take the fam to a party Sunday afternoon I can work into it. Then again I'd better behave at the party........... :11:

Just got a call from our scheduling officer at work today. It turns out that I'm only working my regular shift (3:30PM-11:30PM) on the holiday instead of the double shift I was scheduled for. That leaves me the chance to get out for a morning dive on Monday if anyone's interested? I just have to be at work in Hartford for 3:30.
If someone's interested, let me know so I can make sure that I get my hands on a spare tank. I think I'm diving Saturday and only have one. Sunday I'm working so I wont' be able to get it refilled in time to use it again on Monday since I'm sure most shops will be closed.
Drop me a PM if anyone wants to dive Sat AM or Mon AM?

I am definatly in Jamestown on Saturday morning. Not sure yet on Sunday or Monday. I have to see if I can get a babysitter as my daughter is off from school Monday. Myself and my parents are all in law enforcment and dont get regular scheduled holidays off. I am working Monday, but I work midnight shift and can still do a day dive if I can get a babysitter.

I know what you mean about not getting holiday's off. I'm quite used to it myself since my career is in EMS. Over the winter, I ended up working double shifts on Thanksgiving, X-mas eve, X-mas day, New Year's eve and New Year's Day. Being younger and single, I figured I would give the people who have families the chance to spend their holiday's with them. Plus the holiday pay was too good to turn down.
Just drop a msg if you get the chance to go out diving on Monday. We'll see if we can work something out.

Midnite and Ehfireems, I've made some plans with some friends to dive West Hill Pond Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. If you two would like to meet up with us, that'd be great and I look forward to meeting you.

0900 at West Hill works for me. I'm definatly in. I believe I have someone else that will be joining as well. If I end up diving tomorrow I am going to have to try to get my tank filled though or get one to rent (I only own one tank). If I can't get it filled this weekend since I'm working all day on Sunday, does anyone have a spare tank I can use for the day on Monday? I'd be happy to pay for the air or use of the tank.
I dont' know if they'll be open, but what about the possiblity of renting a boat to catch some of the other parts of the lake? Or do you want to dive from shore at Brodie Park? I'm flexible, so whatever details work for the rest of you are good with me.
