That would probably be a raw egg. One of the deck crew was foolish enough to bet me that it wouldn't make it to 600' after seeing a crushed spherical steel mooring buoy that was recovered from less than half that depth. I won that bet.

Not the cock I expected.
A 6ft tall inflatable Star Wars Stormtrooper.
It was even more surreal because the vis' was particularly poor on the day we put it in the water. You came around the corner of the cliff at 20m towards one of the 'exit' roots and there was this luminous stormtrooper standing there.
We put it in at the start of the first dive, and recovered it after the second dive, so it was only there for around 4 hours.

Used toilets
During my days of "consumptive diving" aka diving and hunting for food we discovered the local plumbers always had
a surplus of used toilets ~~ free for the taking .
Great habitat for California Lobsters -- the undersized ones could hide in the flush route the legal ones had no place to hide
The tribe had several sites all in very deep water-- all around 160 to 170 ( oh the horror !) in Laguna beach and at Catalina.
If on a charter boat arrive at the site -- a designated diver would hop over -- down to 170 - using a homemade trap door bug bag snag as many as possible in about 3-5 minutes and pop a CO 2 inflator to lift the bug bag and then they would slowly surface

I brought my phone underwater and noticed it when I got my DSMB at the end of the dive.
I got weird looks at the phone shop when I asked if they could do something about it. It was making slushing noise when you shook it.

Same here on the East Coast made famous by Ray Odor's escapades with law enforcement. It was regular practice here when commercial divers were out the night before to scour demolition and remodel dumpsters for reef materials. Especially hotels.There are toilets and tubs in 140 off St Augustine and host of other weird private reefs.
