Just got a new Scubapro Scotia 6,5mm semidry for the winter in the Red Sea and now i'm wondering how much extra weight to add. It's a pretty tight fit with no obvious airpockets anywhere. Normally dive 5mm full with 7 pounds.
Do semidrys compress at all? it seems very stiff and restrictive all new and dry out of the box....

Zeamonkey,

I'm guesstimating 2 to 3 pounds additional.

YMMV and you will need to follow-up with your own personal weight check at the end of the dive but....

When I go from 5 to 7,mm wet I add 6 pounds.

As mentioned it's all neoprene you just have less seepage.
