Weight Belt around hips or waist?

If you have your weight belt around your hip area, you are just begging at that point for it to fall off of you. If you have it around your waist, it will be higher on you, but you will also have an easier time reaching the release. If the belt is on your waist, you will also feel more secure, at least I do.
 
Why did I ever worry about this?

I ended up wearing my weight belt snuggly around my waist. I think this is the only way we "PEARS" can wear a weight belt. The weights are no where near my hips.

However, I did observe many different ways and levels that folks wore their belt. I even saw one guy that wore his with some type of suspender system. The apples tend to wear them low. I dont think it really matters unless they slide down. I do feel for the poster that cant wear his around his waist because it causes back pain.

What I learned....its preference...whatever works for you.
