Wed. Night Meet at Windy Point

BrianV and I (I think I can speak for Brian) had a pretty good dive last night.

Vis was all over the map. At the surface near P1 it was about 6-8'. At one point below 40' it cleared to about 12-14'. Then as we got over by the chain between P3 and P4 the vis got pretty bad. I think that was about the time we ran across the PADI class roster sitting on the bottom, so there may have been an AOW class in the area, or something.

Then when we got back over by P1 at the end of the dive, the vis was pretty bad again.

The lake is so low that the shark is in 15' of water (as opposed to the map's stated 32').

Anyway, I had a good time. Thank you, Brian, for setting it up.

Good to hear that you guys had a good time.

I will be there over the weekend camping and diving so it will be a fun weekend.

One of these days I'll have to bail out on Sand Vball and hit up the lake on a wednesday night... Wouldn't hurt to meet a few more TSD's and get in some dive time while I'm at it.
