I'm a little confused as to weather around this area during the above months. Some posts say it's still rainy, some say it's fine, the dive ops I've emailed all say c'mon down but I think they just want my business. What do you folks say?
3 mil ok? vis =? Thanks for all replies. Stay wet.

Hi Mr Blues,
Are you talking about Sabang Puerto Galera? If yes, October and beginning November might still be a bit rainy. Middle of Nov onwards should hopefully be okay.

Sorry, guess I pressed the wrong button...anyway, as I was saying...you may find a 3 mil a bit light if you are doing several dives a day. Water temp will probably be 25-26C; can still be rainy-it even rains into December in PG...hey but the Point Bar never closes so you are in luck!!!!!!

Have a great holiday!

NEVER??? at least I won't die of thirst. thanks for your reply

In my experience, by mid november you usually have pretty good weather. Even if there is occasional rain it isn't likely to be very bad. Buddha is right about the water temps, the coldest I've seen in the phils was 23C (~73F) in Puerto Galera in late Jan. Thats about as cold as it gets here!

Have a great trip!

I was there last October (at Atlantis) - great weather and I used a 1mm wetsuit with no problems for 8 days of diving.

Just came back from there last week (Asia Divers/El Galleon) also and had great weather and wore a 1mm wetsuit all the time.

THe answer to the weather is correct. It is good at times and bad at times. IT IS UNPREDICTABLE still during that time.

the best is to have a 3 day leeway on your return trip to main land (luzon) from PG.
