All I want is a program to run on my Mac for my Cobra. I dont want to have to use someone else's program. I want to just be able to use it like it was a PC. When if ever will that ever happen?

I don't think Suunto will port their software to Mac, so I'm afraid you'll have no luck with that. If you insist on using the original software you could use an emulator to run the windows application. But if you want a native Mac application, you'll need a third-party application, like mine (i never tested on a mac because I don't have one, but since mac is very similar to linux, I believe the code should also compile on mac), the one from http://www.macdivelog.com or some other application.

I rewrote the test application for the Uwatec Memomouse. Can someone test the new version? For the Uwatec Aladin (DOS cable), I already received some positive test results.

I'm still looking for a tester for the Suunto D6/D9.

I started adding support for the Uwatec Smart dive computers. Unfortunately, I don't have a PC with an infrared port. Before I can continue, I want to test the infrared communication functions. You don't need a dive computer for this test, only an infrared port and one or more device in range. Since the program does only test the discovery of the devices, it doesn't matter which infrared device is attached.

Here is status update about my work:

Suunto:

http://users.telenet.be/sacn/suunto/vyper.exe (for Vyper, Cobra, Stinger, Mosquito, Vytec and Gekko)
http://users.telenet.be/sacn/suunto/d9.exe (for D6 and D9)
http://users.telenet.be/sacn/suunto/vyper2.exe (for Vyper2 and Cobra2)
http://users.telenet.be/sacn/suunto/solution.exe (for Solution)
http://users.telenet.be/sacn/suunto/eon.exe (for EON, Solution Alpha and Solution Nitrox/Vario)

All test programs, except for the Solution and the Eon, are tested and confirmed to work without errors. But I can still use some test results, especially from a Vyper2/Cobra2 or D6/D9 with a large number of dives. But results from other types are also very welcome.

Uwatec:

http://users.telenet.be/sacn/suunto/memomouse.exe (for Uwatec Aladin, transfer from memomouse)
http://users.telenet.be/sacn/suunto/aladin.exe (for Uwatec Aladin, direct transfer with DataTrak DOS kabel)
http://users.telenet.be/sacn/suunto/smart.exe (for Uwatec Smart)

The test programs for the Uwatec Aladin are tested and confirmed to work without errors. But I still need a test with an Uwatec Smart.
