I am really burnt that I am not going to be able to make it! Thanks to the powers that be at my hospital, I will be working all day Saturday at the Hospital Harvest Festival, raising money for really good causes, but all on dry land. Since I am alone for the time being in my department, I have to be there, no options. They did this to me in August for a Womens Care Fair, but at that both nurses in my department and all 4 Dieticians that work with us had to be there! Caused me to cancel my trip to Destin then. Grrrr. if I could only find that treasure chest, or win the lottery I could dive whenever and as much as I want.
Maybe next October!!! Atleast, I am going to start planning that now.

when do water temps in the gulf get warm enough? (when I mean warm enough, I mean 65 to 70f or higher?)
Seeing how the springs are at 68f, it makes sense to keep early gatherings at the springs until the water gets warm.

how hard would it be to organize some sort of "diver's voice" on the matter of the spring? I am sure we could get a good number of people behind it just on SB, as well as taking names at the spring on any given weekend
