Im someone wants a side trip on Friday, let me know too. I will be in Pensecola for the weekend, and am hoping to get some good diving in.

Lone Frogman:
I plan on arriving in PC on the 11th. Are you thinking boat or shore dive on the 12th or 13th? I'll check on some boats for Friday morning.

We were thinking a shore dive on the morning of the 13th.

where?

the last time I checked, the tides at the jetties 'sucked' for that weekend.

Can you explain that in more detail? I think this should give me the 15 characters for a post.

Most of the shore diving places in the panhandle are at the jetties (Panama City @ St Andrews or East Pass in Destin). You have to dive them at high tide or the current will be too strong. Actually you could do it a "low slack tide" also, but the water will be murky from the water being pulled out of the bay. At "high slack tide' the water in the pass will be clear from the ocean.

the reason I said they tides 'sucked' that weekend was really based on timing, or when the 'high slack tide' was at what time of day.

In the case of the weekend of Vortoberfest, they are in the middle of the night, so they are at a bad time for shore diving. (thus the "tides sucked that weekend" comment)

have you ever been to the local brothel?

first time it was pointed out to me, I thought it was a petting zoo

Hey, fur is fur no matter what...!!

I would like to maybe do a boat dive or Jetty's dive at PCB or Destin/Pensacola or even the mighty O' again maybe earlier Wed/Thursday...that week!!

I knew I was missing out on something not posting or reading in a while...Should have been working on my dive life instead of the love life!!

Looking at my work schedule, Friday I may not get off until 4:30pm. If I leave right from the hospital I would only drive as far as my sister's house in Dawson, GA. Would put me in Florida Sat. am earliest about 11am.

Now, I still need to work out being able to drive back on Monday. I need to look at how I can change my schedule. Otherwise driving back Sunday, and getting home late at night.

I will get it figured out somehow. I may have to split the drive again. Leave Fl Sunday night and drive half way. Then drive half way Monday morning and work Monday afternoon. Still would be pushing things, best option would be to have Monday off!

Problem is I am the only person in my office for the next 8 weeks, there are only 2 of us and the other nurse will be out on medical leave. I do have another nurse that helps out late afternoons and maybe I can have her cover some for me.

I will let you know how things are shaping up.
