Scott Donaldson does screen printing. I asked him about doing a shirt for my Bonaire group and they weren't all that much. I guess what we need is a contest for a logo on the shirt. The fewer colors the cheaper the shirt.

let's get it down to "one shirt color" also. A lighter color prints on best. Like a very light grey or something..... the very light greys don't show dirt/stain residue near as bad as plain white does.

as for the logo... here's suggestion. How about a diver in "laderhosen" (however you spell that) since it's an Octoberfest thing? with a braut and a cold beer mug. have a spring and a dive flag in the background with some caption? (just a suggestion)

That sounds good !

another 2 suggestions.... (just trying to start the "creative proces" here..)

1.) Have a "brat" with a cartoon face and a mask/reg/BC/tank on... him holding a mug of beer. Near the spring or "lounging" in a hammock in front of the spring or in a rubber raft?

2.) How about a german/octoberfest type beer on the back the size of a tank with a 1st stage on top of the beer bottle and a hose going over the shoulder to a 2nd stage. You can also put any Vortoberfest logo on the front. I've got another shirt like this with a bottle of Red Stripe as the "tank" and it's pretty cool. Only negative to this design is that you have to print on two sides of the shirt which add slightly more to the cost of printing.

Anyone else got suggestions? (I'm don't want to be the only one to be able to "add" to this?)

We should prob try to keep any t-shirt costs under $15 bucks to make ie sensible. We can always shove them in a mail envelope and mail one out for $5 bucks or under for those who can't attend but "just have to have one".

The Kraken:
No, no, no, Kentley !!!
This is a spin off on the German "Oktoberfest".
Has to be Germanic beer or we put you to work building railroads.

Der K-rankenmeister

My bad. Can I at least bring some Irish Whiskey?

I threw this together real quick, I guess it's a start.

Great, but the primary hose is coming over the wrong (left) shoulder. (Just busting your chops, my artistic skills are searching the internet for free clipart, or silhouetting a pic).
