Oh thank goodness. I thought I had screwed something up!!
 
I *think* I experienced the issue. Just bought a yellow transmitter for my wife’s Teric. I planned to have it serve double duty as a side mount transmitter with my Perdix AI.

Last week in Grand Cayman, my wife and I were on a safety stop, shoulder to shoulder. My Perdix went into lost comms. I pointed it out to her.

No big deal as I had a brass/glass gauge and when we got some distance between us it went back to normal.

Glad to hear about the recall. One less gremlin in my head. :)
 
From the recall notice: The transmitter is cylindrical in shape. I guess my orbicular transmitter does not fall under the recall. Whew.
