Dave the inlet has been fairly good lately, it should be good under 30ft.
But has you know it can change quickly. Who are you diving with?

Al

I dove Willis Point yesterday and the visibility was about 3ft down to about 60fsw and then it opened up to about 20ft...

Anyone found any better vis in other areas???

Vis at Setchell Point was about 10' this morning. Not great, not bad either, just average for this time of year I guess. Four of us managed to stick together as a group without difficulty.

No octos sighted - a few dens and some crab shrapnel lying around but nothing too fresh. Lots of Perch though, and it was weird because they were lying about on the rocks like rockfish - never seen that before.

Going to see the bottom with Scott.
:D

McKenzie Bight - viz was 10 to 15 on the weekend at low tide. Last night at high tide, opened up to about 20 or more under 40 feet. Still some larger chunks of suspended plankton, but not too bad.

I see, the viz should be OK under 300ft:14:

Let me know how it turn out.

Vis was great below 30ft.

Dove Willis last night and vis was 40ft + under about 50fsw... it was great!
