Planning a single tank dive 9 AM. How are the conditions going to be this close to the storm?

I talked to Florida West Scuba School on Sat, and they were saying that there was 5' of vis one mile out (boneyard).

I also went to Alhambra 4 days after Charlie, and the vis was around 7'. If I can find babysitting, I'll join you :).

I'm at least going to drive up there this weekend. It's been a month since my last dive, and I'm feeling waaaay too dry. I'll do it if there's 6" of vis :)

Lake Denton is between Avon Park & Sebring. If you're really hurting for a local site, you can dive Granada Lakes. Most of my local sites are now posted.

I'll give it a try with you. If diving doesn't work out, it'll be good just to see the beach after all this mess.

I'll be at Venice Sat. also. If the diving is bad then I'll make a visit to the Fl. Aquaraium and stand in front of the fishies staring at them wistfully.
