Is there a problem with taking a valve off of a steel tank & leaving it off for a day or so? How do you make sure that there is no moisture in the tank when you put the new valve on?

thanks!

Hey Scuba Kat,

No worries with this one... If your tank is in a quite humid environment (outside in Florida, instead of in AC), then take a page out of an old AC man's book. Use a bit of cellophane (or even plastic shipping tape) to impede the passage of air (and the moisture contained in it) into and out of the cylinder. A rubber band around the neck and it should seal out most if not all of the moisture. For a day or two though, I wouldn't "sweat" even that. You should really be fine whatever you do.
