Utah Diver

I am very new to diving. I certified at the Homestead Crater in November of 2003 with my younger brother. So far we have been to Bonneville Seabase twice. I am hoping to do Blue Lake soon. I want to dive in Lake Powell but from what I have heard it is not that great.

I would love to meet new dive buddies or tag along with any other Utahn's who know of other places to go nearby.

If you go to Lake Powell I would love to hear what you think of it. Terry (hubby) lived in Page for several years while the Dam was being built. I would love to go back.

Remember that there is plenty to read and share here and reading about diving is a good thing to do when you can't go diving.

Sometimes the best dives are in places you don't expect to be all that good. The trick is to be open to what you find and actively looking for things that you might not expect.

In every dive there is something to see (even if only by feel), something to do, something to learn and something wonderful.

I'm from So. Utah, I haven't dove in Powell but I want to, stupid environmentalists are not agreeing with diving there but it's still allowed as far as I know.
