MASS-Diver:Have you thread? It's much easier to share air with a long hose. The are easy to deploy, manage, and stow.
ABQ,
Honestly, have you ever tried a long hose? Can you at all see the advantage or do really just think it's some crazy scam that people are trying to pull on you? Sharing air with goofey AIRII is not easy - it's a poor rig for any dive.
Ever hear the term, "Dont feed the trolls"?jonnythan:I'm serious, I would really like to hear what you breathe on non-overhead dives and why you do it that way.
ABQ:Look at my profile, closely. I have used the 7' hose on hundreds of dives. I do not advocate the use of any particular piece of equipment, nor its dissuse. Careful analysis and choice of equipment for each dive profile based on diver/team ability, location, conditions, and training is what I advocate - it's what I teach.
I have 7 regs. jonny. I can rig anyway that fits the dive best, the funniest thing about this whole thread is writen on page 9 of my tech manual quote" what the hell are you doing running out of gas" . simply put eh.jonnythan:I'm serious, I would really like to hear what you breathe on non-overhead dives and why you do it that way.

MASS-Diver:I read your profile, I must have missed it. So, to be clear, you do or do not think that long hoses are for rec divers (the title of the thread)?

You still failed to answer the single question, what length is your primary hose in a non-overhead dive?novadiver:I have 7 regs. jonny.
