I'm rocking 3 low-pressure steel 72cf cylinders made in 1976 and they are still in great shape (as per the shop that VIP'd em) - so just because they are old doesn't mean they are no good. To quote the guy at the shop "These tank's will probably out live both of us."... Would not trust an AL tank that old though.
 
My double 72's are from 1967 for the one tank, and the other tank I can't actually read the original hydro as the lettering has worn down, but the oldest re-hydro is 1966. I was born in 1982 lol.

Hoeser, you're in Tilbury, why not just stop by the Worthington factory and knock on the door and see if you can get some new tanks real cheap lol.
