AM looking for Black USD Horsecollars whose bladders are junk, won't inflate
or leak. My aim is a serious attempt to rebuild vintage horsecollars. This will
entail reproducing plastic parts and who knows what else? I am not interested
in building a business,as there is little or no market for rebuilt horsecollars-they
are sought after by vintage divers only. I intend to begin with USD horsecollars
first. We shall see if I go further. So anyone who has a USD black Horsecollar
which has a junk bladder, and wishes to sell it, It is only to pm me with a price.
I had posted this in classified but had no bites. I need a few horse collars in order
to train myself, and take moulds in order to replicate those parts which have disintegrated with age. Manufacture of new bladders is easy according to
plastics firms I have been in touch with,it is the rebuilding of dump valves,
inflator connections etc, etc. which will be tricky. I hope that those who
have a love for vintage equipment will be willing to help out with info or
direction in the future.I will post to keep people informed as to progress.
Right now I need to buy a few horsecollars. E-bay sucks.
Thanks in advance PORBEAGLE
