More good news! Wonder if she'll kick my @%*! when she gets well for posting this? ;), but it's great to hear her kidneys are working well! The "peg" is something they need to get in for feeding.

Woo-Hoo! Opal finally got the trach! Everything went well during the surgery. They are keeping a close watch on her due to the low platelet count, but it was wonderful to look at her face without that tube sticking out of her mouth. So far she has peed out 5 liters of fluid. And it's even the right golden color. Woo-Hoo little victories, little victories. Keep up the prayers and positive thoughts. Thank-you, Thank-you.......

Not sure where to post this but I'll do so on both sites.

I just want to give a HUGE - HUGE THANK-You to Dave Dillehay of ALDORA Divers for making an extremely generous donation to Gabi Loco.
Dave donated $1000 USD to be used toward Gabi's physical therapy. Thank you so much Dave. Gabi and his wife were speechless and if you know Gabi..."speechless" is not usually an adjective used to describe our very outspoken friend!
Thank you - thank you - thank you!!! So good to meet you!! Mucho gusto!

:thumb: Dave's a good guy not matter else you heard. :D

Very sad news: With permission of April (opal's mom). Last night about 10:59 p.m. (est) Opal passed with family by her side. We knew the journey and fight for Opal would be a tough one and with sadness, we press on to understand the tragedy of the situation and we know that life will change forever now without her beautiful smile and her spirit for life. A fish from the sea, now an angel above!!! Fly High Opal, We will miss you and love you forever!

Oh man - so sorry to hear this. May God be with Opal's family and many friends. Best wishes to Gabi and Heath as they recover.

Very sorry to hear this, how tragic. Prayers......

Sincerest condolences to family, friends and all at ScubaMau. :(
