after diving, later that night I sometimes have upper leg cramps in the backs of my legs. Sometimes just one, sometimes both. These don't last, but really smart while they are going on. Any ideas?

Suspect your fins. What kind do you have...?

Do ya stretch out good first?

if stretching doesnt help, then try to eat dark green vegetables i.e spinach or take magnesium capsules(you may havent got enough magnesium in your system)peace,if that doesnt help, then you,ll have to prepare your legs with a rigorous exercise schedule, lol

I dive atomic liquid blue fins. I used to dive regular atomics and had cramps then too. For awhile I dived Volos but it wasn't for long and I don't remember whether I had cramps or not.

thanks,

No, I don't. Ooops and I'm sure my muscles are tight. Used to stretch regularly but haven't in awhile.

My thought was some kind of metabolic thing combined with the unique kind of exercise finning gives. Clearly I need to stretch and will from now on. As for exercise, I'm looking for a place to take Tai Chi. My whole body is tight and inflexible and I think that will help.

Thanks everyone. I'll give these suggestions a try and get back to you after next dives.
