unwanted symbol?

When I post a reply, I notice that a

symbol appears in my post. I try to edit the post and delete it but it keeps showing up when I save the post. What is it and how do I post without it appearing? I use OS 10.5.8 & Safari 5.1.2

I don't think it's us. Do you have a plug-in for zoominto.com installed? As it seems to be from: http://www.zoominto.com/zoomapi/ZoomButt.gif

I deleted it from your most recent post.

I found and disabled an extension called zoomintosafari. If I post now without the symbol, I'll consider the issue solved and that you are obviously a genius!
