Any specific recommendation based on your post?

I have been buying some undi for dry diving from a place called 'Dicks',,really big sports outfit in the DFW area....yea I know what a freaking name,,,,,I have been getting 2 piece sets that I can layer under my jump suit style thermo....I have just got a vest also.... I will look up the brand name and material/wt. in a bit. The poster is diving in water that is chilly but manageble for some lighter pieces.

I just (last night) ordered a 200g thinsulate from Santi http://www.santi.com.pl/en/index.php Cost is around $300 with shipping. I ordered based on positive feedback on TDS and the recommendation of a very picky friend who has two of their undergarments. By this morning, I had received, as well as the usual confirmation, an e-mail asking me to remeasure my trunk because the figure seemed out of line with my overall height. In fact, I had incorrectly converted my height to metric. So they seem to be on top of things. Reports are that both the garments and customer service are top notch. All garments are custom. All measurements need to be supplied in centimeters. Delivery is supposed to be about 3 weeks.

Looks like nice stuff, keep us posted once you get it on the quality, construction, warmth etc of the undergarments.

Oh~~~ That Dicks.... We have it here locally... I am talking about the thinulate stuff, not fleece.... Let's see what they have....As I recall, it wasn't cheap compared to the dive manufactured brands' ones.

I wear mostly fleece in my dry suit. In this case most of it is from Patagucci (Patagonia) it works just fine. Most of it I wear while climbing, skiing, mountaineers, canyoneering, hiking, etc.

I dive with a Weezle Skin and Weezle Extreme+......very comfortable, non-restrictive, and I require less weight than with DUI undergarments..not to mention I am warmer.

Check into it.

Please tell us more about a Weezle skin?

How is it? Is it a fleece?

It is 100% Polyester, extremely comfortable, stretchy form fitting material. Maufactured by Cloverbrook fabrics. Here is the site on the actual technology it is made from:

It does add a little warmth from what I can tell, but the main reason for getting it was to have something to wear under the Weezle at a dive site seeing you are suppose to go commando. I just go commando under the skin now. :)
