UK SL4 o-ring change,lube etc

So... I bought a used SL4 a couple months ago, placed some fresh batteries into it and used it.
Works just fine but its time to change the batteries and i have noticed that the o-ring is dry, as in "not lubed".
I'm thinking of changing the o-ring just to be on the safe side. And here comes the question
Is the o-ring a standard size or should i order from UK?
Should the o-ring be lubed with normal silicon grease? Even if i don't change the o-ring, should i lube the one already installed?

Unless you see cracks in the o-ring, there's really no need to change it - but it won't hurt either. I would certainly lube the o-ring (new or used), I generally just use whatever o-ring lube I have in my kit.

No cracks on the o-ring. And it has this air-tight filling when you get the bezzel off. I think i'll just keep the o-ring and just lube it a bit with silicone grease. I'll also clean the threads etc with a toothbrush.
But just for our infomation what size is the o-ring used? Can you just get it in your local dive shop?

from another poster here on SB the o-ring is size -123 (that's "dash" 123). Not sure your LDS would carry them ..?

Don't over-do the lube. Just get the o-ring shiny. No big globs of lube.

I have made a led upgrade myself already and kept the original xenon bulb for backup if the led fails.

Now i'm trying to find some C 4500mAh Rechargable Low Discharge Batteries that dont cost a fortune.
