Tough time for that lake.....it was not too long ago that it was in the news for a dead diver. I did not see in that article if it said that one of the three (originally) missing divers was an instructor or DM or if all three were students. Did I miss it or does anybody know?

It was their final training dive. The lake is pretty murky. Once you get beyond 15 and heading out into the centre or so meters its very easy to completely silt out if your not careful rendering vis zero and I mean zero, the bottom has a very deep and very fine silt/mud layer which kicks up extremely easy and once kicked up takes forever to settle. The lake has claimed many lives but usually swimmers. I asked a dive shop I used to do some DM work for to see if they have any more info. Once heading into the center there is nothing there at all, just water and silt/mud. Once went out to around 25 meters was very very eerie, dark and cold didnt want to go any further. My thoughts to their families.
