Hello all,

I am looking at buying the TUSA-RS240 reg or possibly the proton 12. Does anyone have anything to say about the tusa?

Ideally I would like a BCD and reg system as well as dive computer for under 1300
Anyone have any ideas?

Also I am looking at the MARES dragon BCD as my number one choice, I can pick one up at my local dive shop for 389.00 (cheap compared to most i know)!

Thanks

Sean

Open to all equipment ideas, as I am new to the sport.

I owned a TUSA RS240 years ago. It was fine for shallow recreational dives. The first stage is heavy like a brick though, and my LDS didn't like overhauling it for some reason.

I'd probably point you towards the Mares at that price point (just slightly more than the TUSA).
