Me and anywhere from 1-3 work buds are. Meeting between 7-8, I'll be there at 7 :)

Conditions in Laguna is bad and wonder how the surf condition at Vets tonight. Based on what I can tell (see img), it should be calm. Any ideas guys.... It's an hour drive for me to come up to Vets and just like to be sure it is safe to dive.

Hopefully someone will give you an update. There is no real way to know the conditions in SoCal. They change from minute to minute. The best sure fire way is to use the GLAD method.:D

That looks like 1' swells yes? Which was what it was yesterday when I dove there, vis was about 15'. I have about a 30-45 min drive too :) I'll be there, time is actually meeting between 6-7. Hope to see you Lee. Laguna is a long haul though....

I'm from Laguna and that's why I don't dive with you guys much.. I have decided to dive local tonight. have a good dive..

Lee...did you make it?? Saw a few other divers there, not sure if you were one of them :) The dive went well, 3 of us made it right at dusk, so there was still just a hair of light.

Vets was a good place to do my first entry with my Cam set-up, well at least yesterday it was...LOL. About a 1' swell, vis was down to about 10', 15' in spots. We had a great dive though :) Water temps were 67 surface, 58 @ 70'.

Here's some totally rookie pics if anyone wants to look.....I mean, hell...my 8th dive and first time with a camera rig with strobe:rofl3: So take them with a grain of salt :p. Im sure as I learn the cam and techniques...they'll improve :)

No, sorry. My buddy canceled the dive that night and I didn't want to drive up by myself. I ended up diving the following night at Laguna. I saw a 3ft horn shark and a 4+ ft angel shark right here in Laguna water. My buddy and I didn't get into the water until 8:40pm but the dive was worth every minute.
