Just got back from a great couple of days diving with Diver Down in Morehead City, NC. Hit the Caribe Sea and Ashkabad (Great dives) on Monday and did 2 dives on NC's newest wreck the SPAR on Tuesday.
The SPAR is attracting tons of marine life in a very short period of time. Its been down ~ 3 weeks. There are thousands of bait fish ~40 barracuda, at least a dozen or more Permits (tuna looking fish), and a couple of sand tigers on the wreck. The wreck is starting to get covered with a layer of algae, but it still looks relatively clean inside.
Vis was good. I could see SPAR clearly on the stern from the hangline. 105 to the sand, 58 at the top of the wheel house. Several spots to swim thru the structure and the wreck is very easy to penetrate more deeply.
