I'd dive a Trilam, and do, the DUI TLS 350 and LOVE it. I'd rather dive a neoprene than a crushed neoprene. Save the cash if you're looking at crushed neoprene.

I just ordered a Bare Trilam ATR HD with Treck boots. I was interested in Nex Gen but finally end up with an ATR HD. SCUBABOARD!!! I love this place. Now, I am a poor diver.

Out of interest - who makes crushed neoprene wetsuits? I ask because I was advised to get one from my instructor once - due to a more uniform bouyancy charachteristic than normal neoprene. I never seen one though.
Are you sure the instructor said crushed neo wetsuits? Several companies use a form of crushed/compressed neoprene for drysuits, but I've never seen or heard of a wetsuit made out of the stuff.

I'm curious, why would you prefer to dive a normal neoprene drysuit over crushed neoprene?

I've just started diving the Bare XCD2 and I absolutely love it. Comfort, ease of donning and doffing, relatively light weight, and very durable. I am extremely happy that my LDS talked me out of the Nex-Gen (poorer, but happier). I found that at this time of year, at least, the suit dries fairly quickly, stores easily, and takes up a lot less room than my wet suit when travelling to a dive site.

I do own an XCD2 and it has many features that I like. Certainly is a durable suit, though I wouldn't call it 'light' by any stretch. I will say that I'm not happy with Bare's sizing charts. Posted the details here if you're interested: http://www.scubaboard.com/t58102.html

scubahorse:
2mm hyper-compressed Metalite neoprene or Trilaminate fabric. I want to chose one between Bare TRILAM or XCD2.
I need a suit can use long time, Comfortable, light (and carry less weight), fast dry... :dazzler1:
Thanks
A trilam will give you more flexibility with temp ranges due to the ability to dress up or down. You can get trilams that are very durable. My Zeagle Expedition GS has a canvas like outer surface that wears well inside wrecks. It is light, drys fast, and packs small for travel.

My .02 and I know others have other opinions.
