I'd dive a Trilam, and do, the DUI TLS 350 and LOVE it. I'd rather dive a neoprene than a crushed neoprene. Save the cash if you're looking at crushed neoprene.

Are you sure the instructor said crushed neo wetsuits? Several companies use a form of crushed/compressed neoprene for drysuits, but I've never seen or heard of a wetsuit made out of the stuff.KimLeece:Out of interest - who makes crushed neoprene wetsuits? I ask because I was advised to get one from my instructor once - due to a more uniform bouyancy charachteristic than normal neoprene. I never seen one though.
I'm curious, why would you prefer to dive a normal neoprene drysuit over crushed neoprene?downunderjenn:I'd rather dive a neoprene than a crushed neoprene. Save the cash if you're looking at crushed neoprene.
A trilam will give you more flexibility with temp ranges due to the ability to dress up or down. You can get trilams that are very durable. My Zeagle Expedition GS has a canvas like outer surface that wears well inside wrecks. It is light, drys fast, and packs small for travel.scubahorse:2mm hyper-compressed Metalite neoprene or Trilaminate fabric. I want to chose one between Bare TRILAM or XCD2.
I need a suit can use long time, Comfortable, light (and carry less weight), fast dry... :dazzler1:
Thanks
