Just noticed a thread in Marine Life about attacking trigger fish. They're very opportunistic feeders, but apparently they are only dangerous while protecting their nests... kinda like damsels on steroids (they shred squid, I'll tell ya...).
We probably see a couple dozen here in Lauderdale by the Sea on an average shore dive... has anybody experienced an attack (with bites) here or know their nesting season?
