@dive-aholic, do you have any sites/shops that you recommend for shore diving on the panhandle. I will sidemounting double AL80's, so that gives me a little more leeway with the Oriskany, but I should still stay in no deco limits. The water temps you stated don't bother me a bit.

For gulf shore diving there are only a couple of sites. You can head to the St. Andrews Jetties in Panama City or Destin Jetties in Destin. St. Andrews is a much shorter walk and better chance on decent conditions. Both sites require you to check the tide charts and go at the right time. They aren't sites you just pull up to and go dive. It can be quite dangerous in the St. Andrews pass if you're there at the wrong time. I don't think any of the local shops conduct guided dives at either place.
