No harm, I meant the thread type on the tee that the hose was apparently "jammed" onto...

Its look like a strange taper on the Male JIC end, I assume its JIC,,,
Possibly SAE,
but even then they usually will seal to JIC as long as the threads fit,,,

Is possible that it just needs a bit more tightening,,,,
Or the cone is to messed up to fix,
I know I could fix it, but I have a bunch of equipment,,,

So I see a JIC to NPT adapter there on the other side of the hose. JIC should need no tape, and that might have been part of the problem to begin with.. Before buying anything, and on a whim, I'd pull the adapter out of the other end, clean up all the threads, and try assembling the hose reversed.

You do need tape for the NPT fitting....

I'm worried that this connection is forced (JIC male into NPT female) too...

I am going to remove all the teflon tape. I put the tape on initially when troubleshooting the leak. Nothing was forced. I gently put it on. But the leak occurred as shown in original post.

If this connection is not leaking just leave it.

The hose to T connection is JIC then. Just tighten it down without the tape. Its a metal to metal seal from the cone shaped end on the T. So crank it on there.

On the other end that is a JIC to NPT adapter going into the DIN fitting. Put 1-2 wraps of teflon tape onto that and tighten it.
