Zippsy:There is no choice in the poll "I'd rather be diving at Aur, Tenggol, Redang, Perhentian, Anambas or someplace else that weekend to avoid the crowds."![]()
Thanks for ur comments Zippsy...btw during Mega Dive, there will be scheduled boats going to various dive sites with limited numbers. Of course we dont want 100 divers diving at the same site. In fact our marine park officials will advice the organizer & the dive operators on the limit per dive site. There's more than ten good dive sites at or around Tioman. Mega Dive doesn't mean mega numbers of divers at one single site. Its all about an event to get all divers from anywhere in the world to get together & have a jolly good time. Its an annual event & the participation will be limited to the number of rooms available. At the moment, there's still about 40% rooms available throughout the island. The beach party will be a blast....Zippsy:On a normal weekend, I would agree with you Woren. On the mega-dive weekend, I am not sure there will be much room to fin without swatting someone at any site there.
