I'm a Fish!
Ok, I’m bending to peer pressure.

When you dive with a rock you either need to stop the rock or grab another rock to smack the original rock in the head with.

Being able to descend like a rock has both good and bad points.

I could be at the surface when a rock is tossed in and most likely be at the bottom to catch it. My tubes must be the size of fire hoses.

Speaking of fire hoses, everyone knows by now that we do have our token Fireman :D on the team. He is a good diver and learning rapidly.

:D But on this last recovery I wounded him a little. :D

Everyone that has dove on a mission with me either knows to stop me or just let me go. The Fireman, the other Gary, hasn’t dove deep free water with me until that mission.

So we hit the near 100’ bottom in roughly 45 seconds. Sort of got oriented if that was possible down there and came up a few minutes later. I have to give hime a lot of credit, he stuck to me like stink on poo and did exactly what he was supposed to.

The next day after the recovery we were at the debriefing when Gary says he had so much on his mind he forgot something. Adding air to his suit. ;^) So now I have proof that a fireman can be a Rand Mcnally Road Map.

So here are the pics. Not a bad squeeze but good enough for pics and a good teasing.

This is also why some fire fighters aren’t Chippendale Dancers. :D

He got those through some super thick undies that take him 40# to sink with. :D

lol. How do you forget to add air to your suit when it's that bad? That looks painful.

:D He's out token Fireman Team Mascot combination. :D

I think we just overloaded his turnouts. :monkeydan

I just did my monthly stats. 56 offical hours connected to diving and about 10 more not so official. Off to a good or bad start for a busy year.

Another day of dive training will be tomorrow at noon. I think we are just in for a play day and maybe at a little private lake we have never dove before.
