Been meaning to check this big upright shrimper for a long time. It's in 100' west of JP on the Treasure Island 2 Artif. Reef site.

Sun the vis was 30' horizontal, and twice that looking down from the surface. This intact wreck has 36' of relief. Cool dive with lots of GGs, nurse sharks and AJs.

Hit a ledge in 85' that had some ARS so we got our first for the season, about a 7 or 8 pounder, and AJs.
My friends Bill & Jen show them in the pic.

Tues I finished up some OW students with Capt Rod on the Plunger VII in 48'.
Vis was 30' and I caught a wounded hogfish by hand. (I don't take a gun for OW.)
The spearo didn't look very hard to find the tear-off fish.
I always carry a light when spearfishing, and it almost always insures a recovery.

Dove the shrimper yesterday (9-June)...nice spot and well worth the trip if you have a fast boat. Vis on the bottom about 25' with at least 9 goliaths in or around the wreck. Nice sonic boom if you get too close...

I almost ran into one a couple weeks ago diving in low viz. I was surprised when I finally made out what it was and he was none too happy - he barked a couple of times.
