100days-a-year:
I do 120 to 140 fills every summer with the northern OD around MM105.I generally drive up,drop off and the tanks get done right then. Also Kenny and Ginger have more personality than any of the other shops ,hands down.

Tony,

Do you have nitrox wrappers on your tanks??

Oceanus:
so they have the boat owner/liability point of view...

They make up for that with the price they charge .... tank rentals omg some crazy price

I'll throw in my 2 cents worth here about OD.. the dive boat operation is who I've done all my Key Largo diving off of. counter and gift shop personnel were ok. never a problem. I can't speak for the tank filling part of the operation though.

Brian, some do, some don't,some are worn to pieces.
Since I have to get 20+ tanks VIP'd every year, the extra $1 per or so is not really a consideration.Service and speed count much more to me,I got divin' to do.

Mike, I read the thread when I check in, but my original intent was to bring attention to the air fill problem which might and has affected other users of the Board.
I have no complaints about the dive operation that they run, I'm sure its great.

Living in south fl. makes the drive bearable, imagine coming from some far away destination on your week off from a miserable job or weather and you can see how this information might be of some help to others.

Just my opinion of course......

Henry

And a good opinion as far as I am concerned ... I have been out with OD and had a wonderful time ..... I sent friends to rent tanks from them and they walked out the door almost $80.00 poorer :(
But from I hear OD has have some saftey concerns .... they have lost divers this year and they have also left divers at the dive site and did not return to claim them ... totally forgot them .... that is a bit concerning but very well could be rumors ... well I know they lost Mrs Seasack ... her and her hubby where part of our group and scubaboard members.

wow, lost divers? never heard that about them before.. odd (to me) because they seem pretty anal about head counts before moving the boat. (I've been diving off them since Jan 07)
