I don't think I know anyone with 12,000 dives. I need to get out more. There must be a lot of diving in Colorado.

It's all good gear.
I agree it would take someone diving twice a day recording 730 dives/year over 16 years to build a dive log that impressive. You think he would move on past DM eventually?

well im trying out my new gear in a pool session tonight! wooo cant wait!

Back inflate is the way to go. I have a Halcyon, and I don't think I will ever use anything else. If you don't want a backplate, then anything from Zeagle is good. I got a Scout on ebay for $99, and it is better that the BCs that my LDS sells for $500. I don't think there is any advantage to a jacket style BC.

yeah, except they have QDs all over the place that might get a little old after a while. If you are not going to get into strict DIR stuff this one will be fine. But I personally prefer a BPW setup with no quick disconnects, (personal oppinion here)

not the Halcyon BPW, they're good, I'm talking about the deepseasupply ones

just got back from the pool session with my new gear and loved it. BC fit great, computer was easy to use,reg breathed great... only problem is none of my weights fit in the back weight pockets >_< i might have to pick up a few hard weights for those
