Before this gets started again, let's get one thing straight. Many of us are Americans. There are a number of us who've fought for the United States and defended the principles that make this country great. Some of our members still bear the scars from those encounters.
Other members support the States and stand by her.
No one liked it when members pointed out other countries' flaws, failings and mistakes. Indeed, a number of you ran off crying about how it was unfair when we did nothing more than post based upon established historical facts. Yet some of you seem to believe that your political opinions are somehow entitled to a voice even after you've been told that offensive comments, vitriolic political debate and baiting will not be tolerated.
For the most part, the Americans on this Board are happy to let things be. We did not start the offensive threads. We did not wish for more planes to crash or for more troops to die. We did not start the same tired line about our government's actions or suggest that Americans hide behind foreign flags. However, we will respond to these offensive suggestions if you force the issue.
If you want to talk about diving, have a ball. If you want to announce a trip, great. If you want to show off pictures of your new baby, absolutely wonderful. But if you want to rip into our country and wish harm upon its citizens, then watch out. We will respond.
