Thinking about going BP/W

Really, gearing up just means propping the rig up and slipping your arms in (get lower than the harnesses and ease yourself up and in). Works on very small boats. In any case, you're trying the cheapest harness first, and if it works, you save yourself some money. No reason to buy the more expensive harness first, only to later realize you don't need / like all the "features".

hey all

I just found my brand spanking new bp and hog harness in my mailbox...only, it wasnt the standard hog harness that i ordered but the deluxe version. Ive never been so disappointed to get a 'better' deal (read: more expensive and + bells on for no extra outlay)... One of the reasons i went for the hog was the lack of extraneous padding and clutter- now im just as bulky as when i was using my Brigade in the first place

Anyways, guess i wont be pool testing my new rig this weekend after-all!

Pretty ironic, no? At least you didn't pay more for the delux only to end up with a hog harness two weeks later. Ahem. Ahem. Yeah, that was a waste of $$$.

yeah, but i was really looking forward to getting rid of all the big-azz buckles and pads... now i have extra!

Just have them send you what you ordered. At worst, you wait a week. They'll make it right. No point using the deluxe, as there's a good chance you might ditch it later.

yep, thats the plan. But i was so close to calling sick at work on friday to get my new toys wet


oh well, whats another week of checking usps track and confirm every three minutes...
