Don't get me wrong, the Seven Mile Beach is gorgeous and you can have a lot of fun in George Town on Grand Cayman, but there are also other places to visit and things to do on Grand Cayman and on the Sister Islands of Cayman Brac and Little Cayman.

Some folks never seem to venture any further than GT and 7MB. We didn't discover the Sister Islands until our 3rd trip to the Caymans when we did the Aggressor Liveaboard.

Below are a couple of issues of the "Fun News" that features information and stories about some of the "off the beaten path" areas of the Caymans. The newsletter appears to be published by George Nowak (the Barefoot Man) and his associates and they are longtime East Enders on Grand Cayman. The Spring issue features information about the Grand Cayman Reef Renewal Project supported by the Ocean Frontiers dive company.

I agree that there is much to see off the beaten track and on the sister islands. This newsletter takes me back to in time to a side of Cayman that is lost if you don't venture past 7MB.

Thanks Cathy and special thanks to George.
I'm old enough to remember him performing at the old Holiday Inn.

We saw George Nowak (the Barefoot Man) perform several times at the Wyndham Reef Resort on the East End and we really enjoyed his performances. I am happy for him that he is now semi-retired, but I will miss seeing him entertain.
