The town of Allatoona?

I was wondering if anyone had dove down the ruins of the town of Allatoona, lying under the lake. I know visibility is bad, and I have no idea where the town was (probably have to find some pre-1940 maps of the area) but is there anything to see? The idea of swimming down main street would be better than wreck diving!
