I got a first hand demo of Shearwater Predator yesterday at Scubafest. Very impressed with the ease of use, clarity, and nice big text that I can read. I was scrolling screens and planning simple dives in less than 15 minutes. I also like how they are damn near indestructible. She hit it on the table, tossed it on the floor, and in other demos has banged it on steel rails, boulders, and tossed it across parking lots. I am convinced of the ruggedness of the unit and especially the display. And the price for me is so very nice.
