Has anyone purchase their BCDs online?
The price seems to be much better but
I was concerned if the company would honor
the warranty? I have noticed the Zeagles and Seaquests
are much less online but nothing
is mentioned regarding warranty. Also
does anyone know if you buy a used BCD from
a shop, does the warranty transfer over
to the new owner. Thanks.

I purchased a Dive Rite Transpac II with Rec wings from Leisure Pro.

Dive Rite would *love* to find out how LP gets their gear, so they can shut LP down from having it.

LP says right on their site that they provide at least as good a warranty as the manufacturer would have provided...

Take that for what you may...

You mentioned online, but didn't mention where you were looking...

I bought my first BC online and was quite happy with the purchase. I then sold that BC and picked up a bp/wing cobo, online as well.

I don't worry about the warranty. It's a BC.

I just dove, for the first time, the Ranger I got from LeisurePro.

Actually, it was the second Ranger I got from LeisurePro. The first one didn't fit right, so I sent it back and they had one that did fit to me in two days.

In the end... I Love it.

Sure, that's how I bought backplate and wings...from authorized dealers, no less.

I bought my Deep Outdoors Matrix at a hefty discount from an authorized dealer I met through Ebay. I paid about as much for the entire setup as I would have paid locally for just the harness.

I bought two BP/Wing setups over the Internet if you want to count that. However, the company does sell online with a valid warranty.

Most online shops provide their own warranty since the manufactureres is void.

You will save a lot of money if you buy from the Internet.
