Haha. I leaned to solo dive there and did some Tech stuff there. It does generally being back some intense memories of training lolHad some of the worst dives of my (admittedly short) diving career in WraysburyFreezing cold, no viz, no animals... it almost put me off the whole thing!
Went diving in Cape Town (single tank though) in November. I was so happy I brought my dry suit and hood. It was so cold and everyone else looked miserable at one pointI am always terrified when winter comes around thick heavy extra stuff then I plan
then jump in and it is exactly the same as last time, no matter where last time was
Congratulations on the rebreather thing
Ufff. I remember learning to dive in Thailand then came back to Ireland and started diving. Did quite a few weekends in wet suits but ended up getting a dry suit which I still use even in warm watersDepending HOW COLD, I have several dives in the NE until end of November, yes it is cold, but never needed to spend TONS of money on dry suits, unnecessary, unless really needed and when budget is not a problem. I usually use a 7mm wetsuit, boots and gloves and all good.
