I dove BHB today. Construction has started on the east span, but it is all above the water line as prep work.

At this time, the east span is still open for diving. Today there was 35-40' of vis... temps 76-79 F. 76 in thermos as the tide went out and 78-79 the rest of the dive

Do you guys ever dive in our ocean just east of that public works project crossing the intercoastal waterway? IJS :D

Will be in the area sometime between 12/28 and 1/1 and would like to dive the bridge. I've got the tides sorted, but I'm not sure about entry and routes. It sounds like I need to enter from the South shore and swim towards the bridge pilings to the East or West, depending on which end I enter on. Is that correct?

Thanks in advance

Yes, but we don't post it here as this is not the appropriate thread.

I have close to 160 dives and 240 hours underwater just this year. Some of that has been in the Atlantic, some in the Gulf of Mexico and some has been in the intercoastal. None of my dives was in fresh or spring water.
