Had a nice dive this evening at the bridge, spent most of the time searching for nudis for my GF to take pics of. Saw one gold-line sea goddess, saw probably the smallest nudi I have ever seen, it was under 1/8" long, we'll see if the picture turns out. Saw a couple small groups of the white ones with the red lungs. Didn't see any of the purple crowned (harlequin?) ones that have recently been posted here....maybe this weekend I'll have more success...

One thing that I saw which was particularly interesting was an unspent rifle bullet/casing with what looked like some nail polish...possibly bangstick prepped. We also found a fancy titanium dive knife and were able to return it to its rightful owner.

I just looked at my pics & the book & confirmed with Anne the nudi you showed me is a Chromodoris clenchi The tiny one I showed you nearby is a Chromodoris binza. Yeah 2 differnent ones. Was your baby starfish the yellow one? More today???

Yes, I knew that... The common name for Cromodoris clenchi is "Harlequin blue sea goddess"

Great shot of the spotted eagle ray - Deb is going to be SOOOO jealous ! She's been chasing that thing for weeks ! Was it out by the sailboats ? Where'd ya find the lesser sting ray ? I've never seen one "in person" before.

The Eagle ray was north of the bridge. I was sneaking up on it when a boater cranked into reverse from above and it startled just as I was shooting the wide-angle shot.

The lesser ray was to the south out among the sail boats. It was the first one I've ever seen. Scuba Jenny pegged it from the picture right away
