from today there were 2 hogs hanging out, saw a lobster but couldnt get good pic, same with spider crab

Great shot of the spotted eagle ray - Deb is going to be SOOOO jealous ! She's been chasing that thing for weeks ! Was it out by the sailboats ? Where'd ya find the lesser sting ray ? I've never seen one "in person" before.

LOL. I got "stung" by one years ago. The main disc of his head was only about 6" wide. Was off Hollywood beach in the sand. Didn't know what it was at the time and I thought it was a bite!

There were actually two Eagle Rays--that's the bigger one. We were north of the east span, to the far east of the waterway.

The lesser ray was in the sand near the sailboats--I only spotted him because CT described it welll--he burrows in the sand, and only two little eye-holes are visible. The second I saw the outline, I knew what was under there!

Kbeck, was that when you were with Hermit Crab?

No, we went again yesterday and saw the electric ray and more eagles. :)

Nice. Was wondering how he got the nice shot of the eagle when he didn't see any on Saturday! LOL
