Some of my favorite shots from yesterday's dive (My contacts were not working well. I think they were in backwords)

I'm thinking of starting a new "Specialty" for PADI... "Fin-less shore diving" :D

By far my favorite shot of the day... and probably the month so far!

I couldn't get this little guy to stop attacking my camera. Most shots came out blurred somewhere due to his attacks. He is the size of your finger

This Lancer Dragonet was nice enough to pose for me

This crab was on the defense the entire time I was shooting him

(Can't see your shots here at work Jim, but I assume they are awesome)

Jenny, I changed the FB settings on that album to everyone. Hope that works for you (and everyone else).

Scott, very nice shots! That's it, I'm getting a job so I can get a new camera setup :D

awesome shots Scott and Jim!!!

Scott, My favorite is the striated frog yawning. That is a dream shot of mine.
And the pipefish in your first post I'm pretty sure is a chain pipefish. Send that one to Les at Reefnet. I found one last year at Blue Heron and sent it to him, but yours is a lot better. RN doesn't have very many shots of them

Do you guys find overweighting to be helpful when shooting macro?
I usually dive neutral and sometimes get pushed around by current.
If I add just a few pounds, I can lay on the bottom and shoot all day with no issues.

I carry no weights. I do carry a position stick that I can stick in the ground to steady myself for the shot in currents

Maybe I need a focus light for my macro shots. I have a real hard time getting them to focus. Beautiful shot guys.
