Deb,

I got really lucky with the seahorses. I asked where they were before I got in the water.
Just as soon as I got in the general vicinity, one photographer was pointing them out to another photographer. (Lots of prep work went into knowing the camera well enough to get the shots in focus!)

There was a photographer stalking the big seahorse. He wasn't really in position for a nice shot. The photographer was just sitting there waiting on him to move into the correct position. I didn't have the patience for that so I swam around and looked at some other places and came back. The Orange one hadn't moved, but the yellow one and the yellow and black one were in better positions for a shot.

Wonderful seahorse photos. That little yellow one must be getting use to seeing divers because he is always hiding behind the sponges so you can't get your camera close to him Lucky you great shot

See you maybe Sunday

The flag was hooked under tension. He pulled it apart picking it up. He was docking his boat and I had to go up to the boat to get it back. This was when he starts mouthing off. Dude could have come back in the morning to find his boat sunk. He was not very bright!

RE the flag so if it wasn't secure did it just float away or did said person take it & if taken returned? I usually double brass hook mine to something. I bought the inexpensive plastic line holder & never use my reel which I would hate to lose.

See you maybe Sunday

wow lucky you! i didn't get to see any sea horses when I was there last.

Anne, the park was empty of authorities. I didn't figure RB Police would know there way around the water. I do know which boat it was. It is docked on the North East side of the north bridge.

and a 'first' for me: the photo is not very good because I had the camera set for macro shots: I saw a shadow and assumed it was another diver but to my surprise, it was a fast moving manatee!!!

I also saw a couple of batfish and a spotted eagle ray.... all this on a dive lasting a bit over two hours; what a great day to be under water!!!!
