Looks like the horns of lucifer to me.

Signs of Satan!

The capes, the T-shirts, the costumes....

Yes, it looks like I missed something quite spectacular on the Explorer! I almost don't want to ask!

So anyone planning to go diving with Kevin later this week? Maybe I'll play hooky from work for a morning or afternoon...

I am supposed to go out Sat afternoon, Sunday & Monday morning - given
the storms cooperate. Due to fly in on Friday. Anxiously watching.

Probably need to make a decision by thurs morning latest.

Mark-
The only one you probably need to watch is Hurricane Bill.
Ana looks to have weakened significantly.

I may join you guys on Saturday, if I can't find anyone going Thurs/Fri...

Mark,
Good diving with you today! Hope the viz improves for your Sunday dives. I hadn't been in the water in over a month :depressed: so I was really hoping for better than the 30' we had today, but such is life.

As always, Kevin and Alex did a great job putting us on some beautiful reefs this afternoon... Clubhouse and Gazebo I think it was?? I hit dive #70 while wrangling with a nice size lobster, but unfortunately he won the battle... I think the screaming current had something to do with that. I couldn't stay and fight the fight. That's OK, at least I didn't go home empty-handed. thanks again, Kev! :thumb:

P.S. for those who might have seen the red capes in the pictures here, rest assured, I confirmed that those are NOT the new uniforms for employees of Underwater Explorers. Apparently the capes were the result of an unfortunate bet... and now the bet is over!

Glock Diver

It was good meeting you. The vis was much better the remainder of the trip. Had 50 ft by Monday. Did 4 dives on Sunday and 2 on Monday. Each dive seemed to get better. On the last dive on Clubhouse we saw 2 turtles, several morays, a stingray, and a Goliath Grouper! Lobster!! (you don't want to know) They were everywhere after Sat. I counted 11 in one hole. The current was ripping on some dives unless you could get behind the reef.

Thanks to Kevin and Alex for another great trip! I will be back.

Mark

Kevin, et al. Looks like I may be headed to Miami Dec 16-19, but will be arriving in Ft. Lauderdale on the 16th and attending my nephew's graduation on the 17th. Not sure if I'll have an opportunity to get a dive in as I will be leaving on the 19th to see Mom in Sarasota.
