warm sunshine, NW winds 4-8 kts, seas 1FT, as we began our first dive of the day. #1: USCGC BIBB buoy B2(bow), light current, nice blue water, viz 80+FT, water temp 75F @ 95-125FT. quiet on the wreck until our safety stop when a school of 20+ large wahoo zoomed overhead. buoys on the USCGC DUANE were unavailable so we proceeded inshore to MOLASSES REEF buoy M25(logans run, caputos) for our second dive. zero current, blue/green viz 45FT, 75/76F @ 25-42FT. never have we observed so many large black grouper, various snappers/grunts, and jacks throughout the water column @ this site. this northern portion of MO was just jammed with schooling fish including 3 individual reef sharks. photos from timg,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
